This weekend, cartoon duo Prozzäk reunion took us all back to the ’90s, the days when Canadians everywhere danced to electronic dance jams that were SO ahead of the times. They hit up Atomic Lollipop, a convention at the Science centre, that calls itself “Canada’s premier geek festival.” The duo, though not cartoons, performed, did a Q&A, and an autograph session, surrounded by Simon and Milo cosplayers and fans who entered a contest to sing onstage with the band.
There’s more, though: they’ve also released a new song. “Baby I Need Your Love (Pussy Cat)” reminds us of “www.nevergetoveryou,” but has a fresh new sound that leaves us, begging for more of what we didn’t know we wanted.
And, that may actually happen. “It’s funny, because we got together recently in L.A., and every time we get together to make music, we make something,” Milo, aka James Bryan McCollum, told AUX. “Nothing’s done or released yet. But stay tuned.”
Check out the song above.
