Lana Del Rey released her new album Honeymoon on September 18th of last week, and has been pretty serious about her promotion game.

Aside from the actual release of Honeymoon, it’s Del Rey’s promotion strategy that’s garnering a huge amount of attention. Some fans took it upon themselves to call the 1-800 number that’s on the bottom left of the truck, pictured in her album cover, only to discover the singer on the other end of the line, as Sterogum reports.

Late last night, Lana posted a photo to Instagram, captioned, “Call me. I’m home alone x”. Though fans have been calling the number since the album cover was released, up until last night they have only been greeted with songs from the album, plus a handful of lectures and poems approved by Lana.

One lucky fan had the supreme pleasure of speaking to Lana directly, and well, there’s a lot of sobbing involved. You can view the whole video on Instagram below. Or try it yourself and call 1-800 268 7886.

The American singer/songwriter also performed a couple of her tracks live on BBC Radio 1 yesterday, and we have to admit that they’re pretty spectacular. Cut to 5:40 for High by the Beach which features some ambient overtones and a very spacey feel. Terrence loves you starts at 12:51, and features some dark, jazzy tones. It feels a little St-Vincent-esque at the very beginning. The title track off the album, Honeymoon, follows at 19:53. Take a listen for yourself below.
